meetings, meetings, meetings

had several meetings over the past weeks for the summer races. one has being rather disappointing. kb from gam has either not done his homework or he thinks to have a share from rij. at least this impression he gave me. other meetings where more successful though no result is out yet. coming week a company will hold the internal meeting to decide on their participation for the summer races. the talks with them looked promising but, honestly, i have no clue what they will decide on. also i wrote an important paper. what does the paper say? pssst - this should be a surprice for later :)

I read about Run In Jordan in AlGhad newspaper and I was truly impressed and inspired! It’s so amazing of you to launch such a project, especially here in Jordan where athletics are kind of suffering.
For almost two weeks now I’ve been going to Sports City, Amman, where they have a very nice forest track. I go there at least three times a week now… I run between intervals of walking; I still really need to work on my fitness, and I can’t call myself a runner. Still I think it’s a terrific workout and it gives one an exhilirating feeling of freedom, health and peace of mind and I’d love to turn it into a way of life.

I really think the problem is lack of tracks or places to run. The sidewalks in Amman streets are definitely not pedestrian-friendly… The pavements either are too narrow or have trees planted all across their length it makes it hard and even dangerous to attempt to run!

Anyway… I’m really enthusiastic about your initiative and I’m sure it will be fruitful! I will definitely spread the word! Thank you so much for doing what you do.
